Kelly Neal is a New York-based photographer. He received an MFA in photography from the School of Visual Arts in 2007.
Neal's still life work was selected for a hand-curated art program that is featured in Hyatt's newly opened hotel, the Lex 48 in Manhattan.
Neal served as The Lambent Foundation's first artist-in-residence last year. In 2009, he attended Review Santa Fe and was named a semi-finalist in the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery Competition.
He has experience shooting fashion, food, and culture editorial assignments, events and parties, and for private clients.
Neal teaches private photography lessons and workshops to beginning photographers, students, small business owners, and photography professionals. He also offers consulting on software programs such as Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. He lives in Brooklyn, N.Y.
